The wood is finished in Walrus oil to provide a beautiful and water-resistant coat. Walrus Oil is a proprietary wood finish recipe made up of Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, Vitamin E, and Beeswax which is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and food safe.
To clean the wood use warm water and a little dish soap but don't submerge in water.
